Shattered Roses

Melanie Walters was just a normal high school student, who spent her days caring for her cat Oliver and studing. Melanie lives with her brother and sister-in-law, until a tragic fire kills both of them, leaving her alone and bitter.
Melanie has a secret though, she's dating her english teacher until he ends it suddenly.
When Melanie gets kidnapped she begins to question whether the fire was an accident or on purpose. She spends several months locked away in a room that has no way out from the inside until her kidnapper finally trusts her enough to no longer be locked up.
