Kiki is a demon living in our modern time. One of the last ones left in the whole world. She is being haunted by dreams of a pair of Dog demons. One half-breed and one full blood...
In the Feudal era Inuyasha continues to have the same dream, along with his brother Sesshomaru.
Kiki is a shadow demon, she can hide her demonic aura and even copy other's. When taking a vacation to Japan Kiki runs into a certain student who's been traveling with one of the Warriors in her dream. Will the two brothers kill her on sight, or will she travel with them and help them slay the demon Naraku.

They find the villagers slain before meeting Sango, who wished to kill Inuyasha who she believed killed her village. After seeing the truth, the group continues their journey to find Naraku and Chiyo crosses paths with the long foreseen true love that Reiki predicted that she'd meet one day, southern wolf demon tribe leader, Koga.
