Charli Emery's life is just one big, fat, awkward moment, well at least that's what she thinks, she has deemed herself the unluckiest, clumsiest, most awkward teenage girl in society, seems a bit far fetched but she lives by it.
Another year of school has kicked off, the cheerleaders are as slutty as ever, the meathead jocks are even as egotistical as before and Charli is just hanging out to get through the most awkward period of time in her life, Senior year.
The year is going fine until one night there is a huge storm throughout the town. Charli is told that her mum's friends' house has collapsed due to the storm and that her and her 3 sons will be staying at their house until they can rebuild.
If having three new members of the male species stay at her house doesn't make her feel awkward enough, I wonder how she'll react when she founds out one of them is the biggest, most egotistical player at their school and if it couldn't get anymore awkward than that, they have a past together!
Ella is falling apart trying to live a "perfect" high school life. Then she meets Ren, who can see past her scars. Suddenly perfection isn't her only option.
