The Cruel Alpha

Meet Alpha Kaden Ross, a ruthless alpha who showed no mercy for anyone. He killed any wolf who angered him and vowed to never love anyone. His parents were too scared of him, so they left, leaving him to deal with the pack. After they left, he became even more heartless, locking up innocent wolves just so he could torture them and make their lives miserable.

Meet Reeka Montono, a girl who never follows rules. She's the daughter of Alpha Jason, and soon-to-be the new alpha. She has a major temper and always gets what she wants. On the night of her celebration of becoming the new alpha, their pack is attacked by none other than the Shadow pack.

I can smell their scent in the air and I know that the Shadow pack is here. Also, I can smell the sweet scent of pine and rain. Wait, pine and rain? What's going on? I feel this urge to follow the scent and I don't even know why.

I listen to my head and run after the smell, hoping it doesn't fade away. Luckily, it doesn't. In fact, it seems to be getting closer by the second. As soon as I'm close, I stop and realise something. The Shadow pack. I walked right to them and I didn't know. How could I have been so stupid?

The smell is strong now as the Alpha, I presume, walks to the front of the group, smelling the air. I hope he doesn't see me, but sadly, he does.

His eyes are a shade of blue, and my knees weaken at him. He's well-built, and he looks a little older than me. He rakes over me, starting from my face. Finally, he mutters one word that isn't hard to hear.

"Mate", he says.
