Kelsey Holt is just starting high school, with her best friend Rebecca. She doesn't know a lot of people, except for her best friend Rebecca, and of course her brother who is a junior, Collin. He's their parents' favorite because he is the definition of a perfect child. Fit, athletic, smart. Then there's Zach. Zach is the star of the hockey team. Since Collin is a football player, Zach and Collin aren't supposed to like each other because they are supposed to be rivals, it's their school tradition. Zach is a Senior. But when Kelsey and Zach meet and become friends, can the people around them stop them before they become something more? Or will they're feeling be too strong?

Rose liked when she could plan everything out. Her life was chaotic enough - with school taking up her every waking moment - so she did not need any surprises. Boys were the last thing on her mind, and she needed to get into a good university. Enter Leo and Jake. Leo was her best friend until he moved away and completely forgot about her. Jake was her current best friend but was now moving more than an hour away from her. When Jake leaves, Leo reenters her life to drag her into his own personal drama, which has her revealing feelings she had completely forgotten about. Does Rose pick the boy who has broken her heart time and time again or the one who loves her to death but is gearing up to move across the country?
