There have always been stories about the people that stick out. Dorks. Nerds. Lame stoners. But what about the people on the top of the social pyramid? They seem perfect, comfortable, and always happy. But is that what it really seems like?

Sofia smiled and hugged me. "I'm like ten years older than you, but why do I feel like you understand me so well? I wish I were you,"
I laughed. "You don't I promise,"
I slid off the table and pulled open the door. "See you later?"
Sofia smiled and picked up her sketch book. "Actually, I'll come out with you. Time to dress," She winked and followed me out the room.
I thought to myself as I prepared myself to change.
'I wish I were you' . Hmm. How familiar did that sound? I frowned. Why did everyone tell me that? I was currently facing family issues, which I didn't like to remind myself. "I'm not expecting declarations of love, nor anything much, really. Hell, I don't even know if I want a relationship. But I can't deny that I want you. Really bad." I admitted it for the first time aloud.
"I think it's pretty out there that we want each other, don't you?" A teasing grin played about his lips.
"So what do you suppose we do about that?" I eyed his lips and sucked in my own.
"Well, you're the first girl that I don't see as a one-time thing so it's not like we do it once and I can just let you go." He said.
"Maybe you won't have to." I proposed.
"We're both obviously not into a relationship right now, and that's why I think it would be best to keep it physical in that sense and we wouldn't damage our friendship because there was never a relationship to squash it."

With the inability to trust the male population, Sofia Vincenti goes into college with the thought that she would be strictly focusing on school...for a little bit anyway.
Setting up her cousin/roommate, Kristina Vincenti, with Isaac Mulvaney turned out to be a little more complicated since she can't seem to get his best friend, Nathan Stone, out of her mind.
He's sexy, he's sweet -- only to her --, he also just wants to be her friend. Until they realize they want each other, and begin the unhealthy relationship of a friends with benefits.
The real question is: can Sofia really keep her heart out of it, or has she fallen too deep?
