Layla was always called a devil when she was as human as everyone else, just different. On her 15 birthday she found out from her adopted dad, Drake, that it was all wrong. Her father was the most powerful devil in the world, Abaddon, which made her the next most powerful. Adrian, a child hood friend that was also raised by Drake, is confused about the death of their 'dad'. And they both together decide to become Devil Hunters (kind of strange since she is a devil). But Layla can't let any one know or else she will be killed. She can't even tell Adrian, who would be will to do anything to help her be more normal and fit in better.All she can do to hid the fact is keep her Devil sword from opening, because the moment it opens she will be covered in her father's black fire.
