Light In The Black: Rebirth Of Legends

When god created the earth he created a race of overseers to protect it. However after many generations they became arrogant and prideful and forsook their original roles as protectors and began to rule over the earth, referring to themselves as "gods" they changed the earth to their liking. Their rule went unchallenged for a long time until one of their own betrayed them and gave the "mortal races" their most guarded secret. For his crime he was chained down in Hell to be Hell's eternal source of fuel. However, he was unwilling to accept his fate and 10,000 years later he created a small orb and sent it down to earth to help exact his revenge on the gods.
