Ever wondered what exactly Ford and McGucket did for the 10 years before he was trapped in the portal? Why the shack has banners from a Secret Society called The Royal Order Of The Holy Mackerel, yet it was never mentioned again? These questions and more are now answered, in my little fan fiction I call "The Royal Order" where I present some of my old theories and tie them into the story of Gravity Falls! Enjoy!!
(( Disclaimer: This Fanfiction has little to nothing to do with The Royal Order of the Holy Mackerel's Youtube channel, and instead is based off of the idea of Ford and McGucket creating the society themselves. I have added details we have recently gained from Journal 3, as well as the last season of Gravity Falls, however other than that none of this is cannon. Not long ago, an evil dream demon, of the name Bill Cipher, attempted to rule all of reality and existence. A first attempt to stop him was with the Cipher wheel, but it failed. The only people left to stop him were the Pines family. But the Pines never gave up, and even with Gravity Falls at his fingertips, Bill was tricked and was erased from existence for good. But what these heroes told the people of Gravity Falls was a lie. This is the story of what REALLY happened. This is a parody of "Bride of Discord" (great story, 10/10), and it's pretty much the same thing but with some changes and different characters. The Boy Who Cried Werewolf
Four years after Weirdmageddon, Dipper, Mabel, Stan, and Ford return to Gravity Falls for the summer. Dipper and Wendy reconnect on a deeply personal and intimate level. Dipper and Mabel fret about their parents' upcoming divorce. Plans for the future are made: Dipper has finished high school early, and has won a scholarship to Miskatonic University, on the strength of his academic work, his granduncle Ford, and one of Ford's old colleagues and teachers at Miskatonic, Prof. Rick Sanchez. Mabel is still in high school, but has been doing advanced reading in psychology. Wendy and Dipper want to plan a future together. Mabel wants to move to Gravity Falls when she finishes university to open a craft store and counseling center. The Stans are thinking of continuing to travel the world investigating paranormal phenomena and producing a show about it all along the lines of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. However, an ancient evil threatens Wendy and Dipper, and all of the Pines clan's hopes for the future. I have no idea how long this will take to write. This is my first attempt at fanfiction. I recently discovered the Gravity Falls show, and so, of course I am late to the party-- late by several years. However, I wanted to try my hand at this. I have self-published several books, but I have never attempted fanfiction, and more specifically, I have never attempted romantic, sensual, or erotic fiction. Please feel free to critique my writing-- and be as brutal as you can. My aim is to improve.
