As such, the young girl's mother did the only reasonable, logical, thing...they took Emily with them and also called the police to let them know that she had found a little girl who appeared to be lost. Six years later, Emily's life appeared to be coming together quite nicely...until she met a mysterious stranger who quickly shook her world to its foundations. Instead of the stories she very much liked to read, she was now living a wonderful, mysterious, exciting adventure of her own. I studied hard to try to capture each Doctor's personality as they speak and interact, although I do admit that having a cast of 28 causes several characters to get lost within the dialogue. I made this as canonically correct as possible, pulling each Doctor and his corresponding companion from episodes to make this possible, but if you catch me in an error... I claim AU! Ha ha. It is for all intents and purposes a Capaldi episode, within his first season, long before Face the Raven. This is a Doctor Who fanfic for superfans only, as the entire first section only describes each Doctor by his attire, so you have to guess which is which by their apparel and companions.
