Everything happens for a reason and it's not always fair. Seventeen year old Penny knows this all too well. After losing her parents and older sister in a car crash, Penny was in care before her Grandpa became her legal guardian. Now, thirteen years on he is all that she has left, she would do anything to ensure he is safe and well, even if that means working for the richest family in Oakland.
Samara Watson is the child of Dr Watson and his wife, with her blonde hair, green eyes and 'perfect' figure she is Queen Bee at Oakland High School. Samara chooses her friends and Penny definietly isn't one of them.
