Four moons after the Dark Forest's final attempt to destroy the Clans, all the Clans are still struggling to recover; ThunderClan lost the most warriors; ShadowClan have very few warriors left; RiverClan lost its best hunters; WindClan's territory was ruined.
In ThunderClan, four moon old Clawkit always felt alone, having lost his mother who died to bring him into the world. He never managed to make friends with the younger kits as he was viewed as a cat who would rather be left alone.
Furthermore, when a new prophecy foreshadowed chaos, Clawkit's life was only made worse - many believed he would be the one bringing the chaos.
