Mia Edwards is the stereotypical nerd. She has the big glasses, is a fashion disaster, always focuses on school, and has zero social skills. She is on the bottom of the food chain in high school and it seems like the most popular girl in school, Kate and her clones want to break Mia. They succeed by Kate having her ex-boyfriend, play with MIa's heart. Mia is heartbroken when she learns it was all a game. She wants to change her appearance and will no longer be the game, but the player. The only saving grace in her life are her parents, and her last name. Her father is a famous record producer and her mother a former beauty queen. Her best friend Tyler Matthews is wonderful and treats Mia like a princess and like she is the center of his universe. In Mia's transformation and new status, will she be too caught up in the game to realize that the person that she has always wanted, may want her too. Or will she lock her heart and not let a boy break it again.
