Going on 50 years of independence . Big celebration plans. So much fuss and pride so ironic though. In this story I plan to unfold why this may be a slight roast to some barbadians/ bajans . If it doesn't offend you then you innocent and we cool. But if you got offended already if the shoe fits wear it . You started saying wa ya can mean me keep reading. You sound guilty and you know it. If you can't handle the truth . Well I can fix that . There's compliments and congratulations . I'd like to offer to the real MVP's. This story isn't to bring down anybody but to encourage positive critism and self reflection. I'm not saying I have the right to judge you but I have the right to my opinion. Also I feel the need to allow you to know how your actions affect others around you as harmless as you think they are . Everything has big conseqeunces. Alright families if you made it this far let us begin. The cover photo speaks many words some I relate to the book it is friendship something we don't have as much among communities, businesses,schools and family. The country where everyone actual knew their neighbors more than on a name to name basis . But a little more because of the harmony. Now it is slowly dying. Now we really begin.All Rights Reserved

My sister has always attracted the wrong crowd who didn't hesitate to take advantage of her meek heart. Right from small, Zikora's naïvety always made me fight with every single one of her 'friends'. I have never been comfortable with any of her so-called friendships. Not even the one she was in at the moment with her new roommate. Funny enough was that I actually liked their relationship. Chineke ekwela! And I know you've already started judging me as the problematic character already. I am not problematic, she is. You may begin to think that okay I'm probably overreacting. Oga, Aunty, I am not overreacting. On the first day of meeting her, this babe carried her old fashioned okrika shoe that looked like it suffered for nineteen years, and threw it at the glass of my car while I was driving. Aunty, ha si na hel zipụ gị, ma-ọbụ site n'oké ọhịa ọjọọ dị n'obodo m? {did they send you from hell, or from the evil forest in my village?} That one is her business sha. She should just carry her small bum bum and stay on her own, because she's really getting on my nerves. I don't blame her, because she knows she's fine. That's why she's doing all this bullshit. But all that I know is using the word 'mad' in a sentence, I would say; Biboere Mirabel Madagascar is a MAD WOMAN. Come and fight me.

"One day," he whispers, now in my ear,"I will f*ck you." I realise that my eyes are closed and I open them. He's gone. I stand there frozen, in total shock. What the actual f*ck just happened? *** When all you know is disappointment, you become your own best friend. You isolate yourself from everyone else. You need no one; love is a weakness. That's the case with me. Then, Prince Charming rides in and changes everything. Except, he isn't a prince. He is light, but he holds darkness; he is joy, but he knows pain; he is beauty, but within him is imperfection and ugliness. He is just like me, but he is nothing like me.
