Cole Churchill was her fiancé. She love him, but she left him. Why? Cole doesn't know. He thinks it has something to do with his father. But what?
Alexia Farr left the state with her cool hearted mother, and her different in every way twin sister, some out of force, and some out of hate from her fiancé's father. She didn't know what to do, so she left. Hurt, broken, ashamed and alone. She tried to get back to Alaska, where the people she loved most were, but went to jail.
When she was set free, she vowed never to go back to Alaska and to never put so much trust in God. She was done with Him, living, everything. But she can't bare the thought of suicide, so she doesn't. She doesn't want to live, but she doesn't want to die. She just wants everything to go back to the way they were before.
Five years later Cole becomes a doctor. He's not happy being a doctor, but once he saw Alex so broken the night she left he decided to take on the task of fixing people. He still wants to be a police officer but he can't bare the thought of fulfilling such a dream you shared with only your fiancée.
Suddenly, Alexia is faced with the choice of going back to Alaska to see her father, her ex fiancé, her friend who is getting married, and to make amends with her state and everyone who needs to forgive. Will Alexia decide to go back, for many reasons or just one? Will Cole see her and move on? Will he see her and forgive her to peruse her again? Or is he already married?
