A herd of deer grazed peacefully in the early morning sunlight when suddenly a Buck raised his head in alarm and bounded away his white tail waving. The rest of the herd hurried to the safety of the trees. Loud noises rang after them.

A tiger lifted his head in the air and opened his jaws. The sents of prey flooded in making his mouth water but he could smell something else too. He wrinkled his nose in disgust. Before he could let out a challenging roar and net fell on him. The tiger bit at the net and raked it with is huge claws but it was useless he was stuck.

The Alpha female shook her pelt annoyed at being woken up. She looked around her pack noticing that the Alpha male was gone. The wolf gently padded over to him, careful not to wake anyone else up. He looked out at the weird territory. She rubbed her head on his cheek.
"Why did we have to leave," he said looking at her.
"Man came to the forest and then no animal is safe, not even them," she replied.

She gasped as she steadied herself and looked out on the world beyond the fence. It was right then and there that she knew that was where she belonged. It would mean leaving her family and life behind, but that was where she was going to go the day that the other no pelts came to look at her siblings.
