'Dear dead Princess,

The summers are nothing compared to your soft warm eyes that I've seen light up so many times before. The cold winter days are terrible with you not being here to warm them up. You've been gone for almost a full year now, I hope the Angels up there are treating you nicely, I mean they are angels so why wouldn't they? Anyways, I'll always love you, you were always my inspiration and you still are.

With all Love,
Princess Cassandra of Preston'

*************************

With an extraordinary childhood and a throne with people jumping everywhere at your command, you'd think that you would have a spectacular life, right? Well, not when you've experienced things that a young princess should never have to experience in her life.

Princess Cassandra of the Kingdom of Preston is an elegant 18 year old with a sister who died at the early age of 21 who not only was supposed to be the heir to the throne but was supposed to have her own selection to pick a husband. Now that the dead sister is gone, the throne only has one heir, Cassandra.

Hale Kingly, supposedly a nerdy boy with his books and all, but not only is Hale a hot boy who loves to read books and actually shows it, but he's the son of a multi-millionaire mother, soon to take over the business. That is until an invitation stating that he is invited to participate in the selection comes in the mail. His mom being the money hungry woman she is sends him out to participate.

When the two meet, all odds of their being any other boy for Cassandra fade. Not only does a battle for Cassandra begin, but a horrible flash of her past awakens. Can Cassandra truly make it through this ride, or will she royally be the next death heir in line?

There is not just one princess in trouble in this Novella, but two. Both are in need of protection and only one can do the protecting. When Vondra meets the recently widowed Prince Sharzor, she finds herself disliking him and when they are together, she despises him all the more. For some reason, he seems to hate her and does his best to keep putting her in her 'place', believing she is either a servant or a crafty female criminal. But deeper emotions are at play in both of them and soon they will surface... This is to be a 'Novella', written for Wattpad's 2021 Open Novella Contest and is about the seventeen-year-old princess, Vondra, who appears like an upper-class servant, certainly not a royally titled young woman. She is on the run and has no idea where she is or where she is going. She whispers, "I'm in heap of trouble and there is no way on this earth that I will go back. I don't fully believe in God, but as a last resort before I find a high cliff to throw myself off, I will pray and ask for help to become the woman my grandfather taught me to be."- He had told her, 'You're a weapon and weapons don't weep.' At the same time she wished to fulfill her Grandmother's prayers that she would 'be a woman of great wisdom, care, love, faith, hope and peace. I have placed this novella in the category 'Romance' as there was no category for 'Action-Romance' - the main romance doesn't happen right way because of the prince's loss and princess being in such trouble, she can only think of herself, of escaping and finding a normal life away from the restrictions of royalty. When the romance begins in earnest, it is intense. Enjoy.

'In a world of the supernatural, if you're human, you're obviously not normal.' ~~~~~~~~~~ Aiden Cadwell has all a guy his age needs. A dependable family, a loyal best friend, and a devoted girlfriend. Or at least what he thought he had anyways. Battling his last year of high school is difficult. Avoiding the trauma his cheating ex-girlfriend and unloyal ex-best friend have left behind is even more difficult. If only high school drama was all he had to worry about. Aiden's life only gets more complicated when a new mysterious stranger appears. Secrets come to light, enemies come out of the shadows, and a new world comes to life. Laylani Blackwood's only purpose in life was one thing, to serve and protect the Bancrofts at any cost. Her grandparents had served them, her parents as well, now it was her turn to carry on the legacy. She was prepared for many things but babysitting a mortal in the mundane world was not one of them, but the king needed a guardian he could trust and she needed a way to prove herself. Her new charge? The lost Bancroft heir apparently. She was definitely not prepared for that. Nor was she prepared for the awkwardly charming, not-so-confident, and aggravating guy she now had to protect with her life. Was it too late to ask for a different job? ~~~~~~~~~~ A/N: Y'all know the usual warnings everyone puts out and they aren't any different here. This is my work, hard work, and I would very much like it to stay that way please. There is strong language and possible content, you've been warned. I'm still a new writer and learning so work with me here and help me fix it, NICELY. This is not a continuously updated story, it is a hobby at the moment that I do in my free time.

It's ten years later and my brother still teases me mercilessly in front of him. It's ten years later and Kit somehow looks even better than the guy I spent my formative years crushing on. Kit When I find out about my best mate's little sister's situation, the offer is out of my mouth before I can stop it; Hawk's like a brother to me even if Amber's never looked twice at me. So, it becomes my mission to help Amber find her confidence. But I find more than confidence in her and suddenly I'm seeing my best mate's little sister completely differently. I stepped forward and asked, "Where do you want me?" It took me a second to realize what I just said. Shit! I placed a hand on my crimson face and muttered, "Get your head out of the gutter! You know what I meant." He laughed, his voice sounded hoarse and deep even when he's laughing. I peeked at him from the gap I made between my fingers. He was close. So close. He grabbed my hand and took me to the bed. Damn! It did sound sexy. His shirt was loose. Too large for me, and it hung on me like a cloth hung on a hanger. He sat on the bed, criss crossed and pulled me to him. ♡♡♡♡♡ The thing about love is... its unpredictable. Even when you don't want love, it just happens.
