Nakahanda na lahat para sa surpresa ko kay Jerome. Anniversary kasi namin ngayon. May kandila at petals pa yung table na inihanda ko. Nag suot din ako ng simpleng dress. 

Maya maya narinig ko na ang sasakyan niya. Sinalubong ko siya ng halik, pero may kausap siya sa telepono at sumenyas siya ng 'wait lang' at tumango ako. 

Tiningnan ko lang siya hanggang sa makaakyat siya sa kwarto namin. 

Napaupo ako sa sofa. 

"Antagal niya. Mapuntahan na nga."

Pag akyat ko nakita ko siyang nakadapa sa kama at nasa tenga pa niya ang telepono. 

Nanlumo ako bigla. Lagi nalang. Wala na kaming time sa isa't-isa.

"Di manlang niya naalala." Bulong ko. Sabay tingin sa suot ko at sa inihanda ko. 

Lagi siyang may kausap sa telepono. Minsan naabutan ko siyang nakangiti o di kaya tumatawa. Pag tinatanong ko work lang daw.

Nag bago na ang lahat..
