So, I can't completely take credit for this idea. One of the people I follow gave me the idea when he wrote Timeless Warrior. This book is similar, but at the same time, very different.

"Perseus, we were raised together, I get that things have gotten hard, but denying me aid?"

"I never said I wouldn't aid you. You know that if it came down to it, I'd march every able bodied Spartan to your aid. But you must remember, the Elders of my nation are fickle beings. It won't look good to my people if I chose to go against their advice."

"I know, but Mycenae stands to be over run by Persians."

"I understand. I will see what I can do. I'm still amazed you are alive after that battle. It was said that you were killed. I look forward to finding out how you escaped fate...Achilles."

The arms race began in Mesopotamia with the invention of composite bows, light chariots and crossbows. The Persian (Iranian) emperor tried to conquer Athens in 480 BCE but was delayed by the Spartans at Thermopylae while Greek warships destroyed the Persian fleet. The Macedonian ruler, Alexander the Great, completely destroyed the Persian armies by 326 BCE and established the Greek empire. Then, between 600 and 200 BCE, a few hundred Greeks revolutionized science, mathematics, medicine, engineering, history, law and philosophy. Meanwhile, Greeks settlers in Sicily were in conflict with Rome and, by first century BCE, Romans had conquered Greece, Egypt, Carthage and the old Persian empire. Roman traders made large profits using the Silk Road between Rome, China and India and which created higher incomes though out the Roman empire. Roman engineers built more than 80,000 km of roads throughout the empire and 800 km of aqueducts in Rome delivered a million cubic metres of water each day. WHO THE HELL ARE WE? is a series of short books and videos describing the evolution of civilization. Almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors only 50 years ago. This astonishing phenomenon has also improved health, education, and longevity. The cause; an explosive growth in ideas and productivity. It began when we learned to control fire, evolved articulate speech and stumbled onto the way to create infinite wealth; free trade. The discovery of agriculture made us richer but we also learned how to destroy wealth. Great civilization grew up but then disappeared leaving only incredible ruins and ideas. Later books detail some of the ideas and developments that increased the average life span from about 40 years to more than 80 and the average world income from less than $3 to more than $33 per person per day (and to $140 per day in some countries).

"The legends of the past shape our lives and those of our children. One such legend tells of a struggle that almost destroyed our world. The names of Orakio and Laya echo down through the years, still inspiring love and hatred even now, almost one thousand years after their tragic deaths. Their conflict wiped out civilization and left the survivors in a world of mutated monsters and warring pockets of men. Into this shattered world you are thrust, to live or die by your sword and your wits..... The legends of Landen, our hero's homeland, tell of world-sweeping wars fought almost one thousand years ago. Brave Orakio sought to foil the evil schemes of the dark witch Laya and her hordes of monsters. In the final battle, all combatants were killed, although Orakio and Laya's bodies were never found. The passage ways between the Layan worlds and the Orakian worlds were sealed. In time people forgot that there were other worlds besides Landen. Two months ago, a young woman washed up on the shores of Landen. She remembered nothing of her life prior to waking up on the beach. This seemingly minor event sets this epic adventure into motion." - prologues to Phantasy Star III: Generations of Doom Book 1 of a novelization of Phantasy Star 3, following Rhys' (Kein's) story. Written during my freshman/sophomore year of high school, 1994-96. Unedited and uncorrected, so there's likely to be some misspellings, incorrect grammar, things that I got wrong about the story/lore, etc. For a loooong time, Phantasy Star 3 was the only fan fic I had ever written down. I've since begun writing a Phantasy Star 1 fan fic (under Monkeeshrines). I've branched out so much! ;) It's dedicated to a friend of mine that had passed away during her junior (my senior) year. She had never played the games but liked the story and was the only one I showed this to before completing it. She kept asking me when I was going to finish, which I sadly didn't do until after she passed.

Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.

[Book 1 of the 【Armageddon Trilogy】] 『Perseus Poseidonas Jackson is an anomaly.』 HE knew this himself. HE knew that he was different from all of his fellow peers. From the way he can control all forms of waters to causing earthquakes to his impeccable fighting skills to even talk to sea creatures and horses. It does not help that at such a young age, his opinions on humanity is as good as dropping sh*t on the toilet and drain it, with the exception of Sally Jackson, his own mother. It wasn't until his first encounter with a monster that was supposed to be just myths when unknown visio-no, MEMORIES, resurfaced in his mind. He wasn't just Percy Jackson. He was Poseidon, the Tyrant of the Seas. The 3rd Fighter of Ragnarök. He lost immensely against Sasaki Kojiro. Add the fact that the gods of his new world are as useless as mortals. That his once perfect visage has now become imperfect with the added human blood in his veins. And that his very own FATHER is an even more imperfect version of HIMSELF. And that made his ichor boil with RAGE. 【Where RoR Poseidon is reborn as Percy Jackson.】 🐳🐋🐬🦭🐟🐠🐡🦈🐙🦀🦞🦐🦑🐚🪸🪼 Inspired by various PJO x RoR crossover fanfics.
