I heard a soft thump. Opening my eyes, I stretched, my hands blocked by some kind of... Bag? Something seemed off. Where was there a bag in my bedroom?
Wait a minute.... I opened my eyes, but I still couldn't see anything! It was pitch black! Where was I? What happened?
I kicked my legs out, trying to break the bag. My foot connected with a hard metal thing. "OW!" I cried out in pain.
I curled up into a little ball. Breath, Shadow. Breath.
Why would someone kidnap me? I'm not anything special...
A light flickered at the edge of my vision, allowing me to see the light brownish-gray of the bag.
I heard footsteps, and a voice say to me,
"Why hello, Shadow. Nice to see you"
Then everything went black again, and I passed out.

But when he thoughts that he would hear his own scream, his ears perked up at the sound of an audible squeak and a grunt. He peeked one eye out, seeing only smoke from where the monster was a second ago. Sonic's eyes widened and he looked around immediately, his hands slightly shaking. As he looked up at a roof, he noticed a silhouette, standing there, a giant smoky scythe resting over his shoulder. His crimson red eyes locked onto green emerald ones. "Pathetic." the figure said, making a shiver run up Sonic's spine." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes.
