Vincent D'amore attended Riverdale High School.

Vincent D'amore, was, under no means the brooding, popular boy that every girl drooled over. He wasn't the nerdy, shy type that no one wanted to be around either. He had the potential to be the popular boy that everyone wanted in their life; he was handsome, he was smart, he fit the criteria for the role. However, he was reserved, and it was true that no one approached Vincent; he was what some would call a loner. He kept everyone at a distance, never allowing anyone to get close to him or even near him enough to strike up a conversation. He sat alone every morning before school, every afternoon during lunch, and leaned against the same spot in front of the school after the bell rang with his earbuds shoved in his ears and music playing to block out the world. No one knew anything about Vincent, and of course, there were rumors about him, yet Vincent brushed them off. He didn't care what people said or didn't say, because to him, it's better they make up their own lies to help them sleep at night than to know the truth.

Now meet Samantha Kellman. She was like Vincent. She was pretty, she was intelligent, but the difference between her and him was that she was constantly bullied for simply being who she was. Samantha kept everyone at a distance; not because she didn't want them to find out her secret, but because everyone already knew her secret, and as a result of the events that transpired because of it, she's convinced that everyone is out to hurt her, that she can't trust anyone - everyone except her best friend. One thing about Samantha, which her best friend always admired about her, is that she was extremely determined to do whatever she set her mind to.

So, when Samantha Kellman approaches Vincent D'amore one day to strike up a conversation, determined to crack open his seemingly impenetrable shell, what will happen?
