"The sassy one, I like her." I said to my friends, Thorn and Ryan, playing with a piece of chicken. "Yeah, she's hot." Thorn said. Ryan nodded. I gave him a death stare, "Back off mate." Thorn put his hands up, like in the cop shows, "Damn! Chill, I don't LIKE LIKE her. I like her friend. Sheesh." He said, dropping his voice lower at the last word. "You better." I said coldly. He gave me a nod. Then, the girl I wasn't planning to sneak up on me, put her hand on my shoulder, "Who does Alec like? Me?" She asked, her friends, Aubrey and Harper, stood next to her. I started to speak, but the sassy one, Eve, cut me off, "And before you say you don't, I heard your whole convo, so don't lie." I sighed, and started to speak, "Eve, I like you. A lot." She turned to face her friend, giving her a wink. She turned back around, "I knew it. Come here." She said, leaning in to kiss me. I didn't pull away...everybody in the lunch room went dead silent. She pulled away and said, "I'll be the bad boy's sassy girl." And she kissed me again, and walked off to class with her friends.
