When seventeen-year old Skylar Lancaster lost her journal, she didn't think much of it. After all, it would show up when it wanted to be found. She didn't realize that her journal had been found and by someone she knew from her school.

Preston Rhodes has everything an eighteen year old guy could want - good looks, good grades and popularity. Everything he thought comes into question when he finds Skylar's notebook. Her notebook is filled with her deepest thoughts and how she sees the world through her perspective.

It doesn't take long for Preston to realize Skylar has captured his heart. There's only one problem: Skylar's at the bottom of the social ladder while Preston is so far up one wrong leap could break him. Until Preston read Skylar's journal, he never knew how trivial high school popularity was and to prove a point he comes up with a proposition -- all he has to do is get Skylar to say 'yes'.
