Lyric Ashlynn is a senior in High school, she's the type of girl everyone loves, she has no enemies and makes friends everywhere she goes. Her life couldn't be more perfect, captain of her high school cheerleading team, great job at a local animal shelter, and dating the quarterback of the football team. It's practically a dream, there's just one little problem, a secret that she keeps to herself. Lyric can read people's thoughts, not only that, she can also manipulate them. She's intent on keeping her secret hidden until a strange boy shows up next door. She soon realizes his thoughts are completely blocked from her, and he seems to know things about her that he shouldn't know, things that she doesn't even know about herself. Will he find out her secret? And could he show her a world she never knew existed; a world she was born to rule? Or will she shut him out in an attempt to hold on to her old life?
