Dawn and Hugh have always been there for each other; best friends since they were toddlers. They thought nothing could tear them apart.
Except she didn't know what their parents were keeping from her. She thought Hugh and his family were just moving houses because of financial issues. But she was wrong.
So when Dawn and her family decides to go on a family vacation to the Sunshine Coast, she happily asks Hugh to come along.
What she didn't know then was that the vacation was going to turn into much more than just two best friends hanging out. Secrets begin to unravel; not only his, but hers as well, the moment they set eyes on each other. Events that Dawn never thought possible occur, and her life eventually turns in a completely different direction as her past catches up with her, forcing her to relive a memory of another guy...

I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace!
