Don't you just hate it when myths are real?

They're supposed to be faster, stronger, better than any other being; they're supposed to be the ultimate beings. They are the last myth left. And they just walked through the door.

In a world where all mythical beings are not only a reality but live in harmony with humans, there are almost no myths left. Pulchras were supposed to be a myth. The last myth, in fact. So imagine the surprise of Foghlama's University students when not one, but two Pulchras join their ranks.

Jarlath and his twin sister, Thyme, are Pulchras whose parents were murdered when they were twelve and ten years old. This, the first book in the Pulchra Trilogy, is the story of how they grow up to realize their parents' murderers will stop at nothing until they are dead as well and that unless they change their ways, they'll be running forever.

Oracle of Wolves

41 parts Complete

"You shouldn't be here," I whisper-yelled to him. "I shouldn't," he agrees. "I should let them kill you," I added as he began to walk slowly towards me. "You should," he tucks a loose strand of hair behind my ear," But you won't." I'm about to argue that I will when he brings his lips down to meet mine in a slow, thought-halting kiss. Then another. Then another. ____ Do you know what death is like? I do. I've lived through a million deaths a million ways, it's all the same. There is no angel standing next to you to help you up, no bright light, just a cold feeling followed by something I can only describe as numb. I can't complain though, I was born to see these things. I was born to see death and to stop it. That's what oracles do. So when I foresee the death of the entire wolf race, I need to find a way to stop it. Only to find out that the one who ends the race is, in fact, my own mate. Can I find it in my heart to let him be killed? Or can I stop the end from coming another way? This is part of a series, you can get by without reading the first book but be warned that it contains spoilers if you read the previous one later. Book 2.
