Mel and Mike met as toddlers in the playground. One thing lead to another and they became unlikely best friends, quite the reverse of their parents feelings- which are something more along the lines of the hatred shared in Romeo and Juliet. But fear not, luckily there's no double suicide at the end, unluckily for Mel, the unrequited love seems to only be coming from her side. Or is it? Please read on!

Just an awkward not so short story (was originally ment to be a short story...). Hopefully it's cute enough for you to vomment on it! :D

6 Months of Rain (Book 1)

63 parts Complete

Lifelong friends, Candy Dawson and Elmore Green, realize something the summer before their last year of high school: What they'd called their friendship the last four years had subtly morphed into something else right before their eyes. Painfully aware of how much they need each other and how unprepared they are to face the future, they do their best to leave what almost was in the past. But their unresolved feelings for each other only deepen when new love arrives in their lives. After six months of rain, what will grow between them? Something has taken root, but could it be love? Together, they just might find out.
