The library. The only place where 18 year old Dan Howell can escape his (abusive) parents. His life has been terrible. Parents always fighting. Parents being drunk. What a happy life, right? It wasn't until one day at the library, a new boy named Phil decided to visit the library. After encountering each other whilst trying to grab the same book and start talking, they instantly realize they share things in common. When Dan decided to tell Phil this "cute" little thing couples do, Phil decides to do it, too. For him. For the boy he had just met in the library. TW: Abusive parenting, mentions of self-harm. Not very major, though. Genre: Fluff, some angst This is basically a Teen!Phan phanfic and an AU.
