She danced. It was her only escape from her past. Every time she rolled up onto the box of her pointe shoes, it seemed as if her troubles rolled off of her like raindrops rolling down a window. When she danced, she was free.
What will happen when the two former Soviet assassins meet again? Will sparks fly? Or will they even remember each other.
Disclaimer - I've never read the comics, so I just kind of make my own story up along the way.
Update - I'm currently reading every Black Widow/Winter Soldier comic book I can get my hands on

Red illusions (marvel)
Three girls get sent on a mission, however, their ballet teachers - Natasha and Yelena - notice one of the girls in particular and realise she may ( or may not ) be a widow. The girl in question denies any ties to the Red room, trying to complete her mission as quickly as possible. However, she and her sisters will eventually have no other option other then letting the two former assassins help them. They live happily ever after - mostly (Side Maria/natasha) *I don't own the marvel characters or Red Room storyline

Something about Odessa, some tires, a cliff, and the winter soldier. Unfortunately for us, we never got to know how she ended up in that situation. Maybe, just maybe, it would end a little differently in a parallel universe when you add another agent to the equation. Kate is freshly promoted to a level 5 agent. Hoping she can impress Fury further, she's excited when she gets called in for a new mission. But when she meets her chosen partner, memories of her past come back to haunt her. What memories has Kate buried for too long? Will she learn to trust the Black Widow or will she find more reasons not to? What if they start building a connection beyond the professional? Will they be able to pull through and complete the mission? And will it end any different from its original outcome? Trigger Warning: This book contains violence, sickness, torture, and death.
