When you're young, you think you know it all. When you go through foster care, You have to grow up fast. Meet an 8-year-old boy who thought he knew it all. He just wanted to grow up as fast as possible to escape all the "care" he was forced to have. But when a family finds out about his past, they want to help him in any way they can. In this case, letting him be a little kid again, letting him feel safe while being himself. This story is about his first days in his new foster home and gives a little glimpse of what happens when you don't let the outside world dictate what is right or wrong.

As a small boy no one really knew him. He was constantly moving from city to city he felt alone. His mom and dad split only when he was a baby so he didn't know his father and didn't really care but his mother passed so he lived life alone. He moves again but little did he know it would be the last time they moved for a while. He got jobs to keep him in a small apartment and food on his table. A girl who seems to know things about everyone sees him and don't know who he is. She seen him around But doesn't know a thing about him and wants to know exactly who he is. She watches him from a far but what happens when he finds her at every place he goes.

Her parents divorced when she was 6 and she went to live with her mom. One month in the summer she would go to her dad's house. She was so much like her dad she felt she didn't belong with her mom. So when she turned 14 her dad took full custody of her. Danielle is just your average 18 year old senior at Lamar High. She lives with her dad full time and about to graduate from high school. She knows what she wants to do. But her dad doesn't want her to do it. Now she has to make a decision. Do what she really wants to do and get kicked out, or do what her dad wants her to do and live in the house with him.

I was saved by the him, the Alpha, who didn't know a thing about me. And ever since then, he has been the one who saved me. But nothing he can do will save me from them. The rogues. For some reason they want me, and no amount of protection will save me from them. They want me dead, and nothing will stop them from getting what they want. Except him. And he doesn't even know it.

This story is for my little brother. He was the best man I ever knew, and he died too young. No, he didn't leave this life the way I tell it in this story (it is, after all, a work of fiction), but he might have had things played out a little differently than they did. Childhood sexual abuse is alive and well in America and the larger world as well. Rodney and I lived it, and that basic fact served as the seed that made this story possible. Much of what you are about to read is true. Just as much is pure fiction. You'll get that (in spades) as the book progresses. The idea of another, better life waiting "out there" somewhere is a constant of most religions, but this is not a book about any religion or, really, the afterlife. It is a story about escape and hope.

It's amazing how one little choice can change a life. Not just for you, but for everyone around you. I knew that our family welcoming in a foster child would change things, but I never imagined how much. I never imagined the burden my new brother carried. But he didn't have to carry that weight on his own any longer. Sometimes family wasn't linked by blood. Sometimes a brother comes when you least expect it. Sometimes adventure comes when you step out by faith. Sometimes family is all you have Sometimes love leads to pain. But I'd embrace the pain all over again for him. Because really, we were all that he had.

Jack's family moved to America so they could have a change of scenery. Jack had to go to a new school and make new friends. But one boy in particular catches his eye. Mark hasn't spoken to anyone in years. Not his best friend, Felix, or anyone in his family. He always sneaks away at lunch to go somewhere. Jack hopes to break the silence that has fallen over the boy, but the problem isn't about talking to Mark, it's about getting Mark to talk to him.

Don't read this. Its an old story I keep to look back on and reminisce. This is a boy with both status and wealth, but that is not a life he wants. Instead he wants to be normal like everyone else. But soon something will happen, at the time he did not know, he didn't see, but will soon to understand very well. What will the boy do anything once he does understands, or will he just go on without getting involve to pursue what he wants (normal life)? Also this is my first time writing....Do forgive any mistakes or cause of boredom. I may also give up half way and never end up finishing so do forgive that too.
