However May's parents start to argue and she goes to Andy's house to get away from it all, they welcome her with open arms and Andy says he will always be there for her.

Andy leaves when he's 18 and moves to Los Angeles leaving May alone, she's only 17 so she has to wait a few months before she can leave the hell hole she calls a home.
