Have you ever been alone? Ever seen a figure stand at the end of your garden? Ever been too scared to open your eyes? Ever travelled the world on the run? I have, and it all happened last week. It was 10pm and the silence was eerie. All I could hear was the beating of my heart, thumping against my ribcage. Mom said she would be home at 6. She was late, which was unusual. I had school the next day, I needed to sleep. My mind began racing, terrible thoughts filled my mind. What if she got murdered? What if she abandoned me? What if she was never coming back? Suddenly a noise filled the silence. A ringing, it was the phone. I picked it up slowly, my hands trembling. "He-e-e-l-lo" I managed to stutter. The voice on the other end was deep, I, never heard the voice before. It said one syllable but with such a ferocious tone. "Run". Then the line went dead. Panic rushed through my body, I was frozen to the spot, my body refusing to move. Smash. I looked around a rock had flew through my window. I walked towards the rock with caution, there was a piece of paper stuck to it. The paper read, 'I told you once, run'. I stared out the window, which had now been smashed allowing cold air to rush into the room. There was a dark figure standing at the back of my garden, slowly approaching. That's when it clicked, I had to move and fast. I turned around and rushed to the door, my hands still trembling, successfully managed to fit the key into the lock. Forwards I fell, as the door sprung open, I was left flat on the ground. I pushed myself up and managed to keep running. I had to get as far away as I could. At 9 years old this shouldn't have been my life. Where to go, I had never been outside of the house alone since my father had died. Burned alive by a fire which had burned down the field that used to be known as merdocia woods. That one syllable had ruined my life, I was just settling down in a new town, with a new life when one word had completely ruined everything. Run.

(H20Delirious X Fem. Reader) "wιll we вe ғree?" I asked He smiled, thats what I'm after. The smile on his face and sound of his laughter. "we wιll вe ғree тogeтнer! yoυ and мe!" He answered ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Being an orphan, you don't have a lot of experience's or happy memories. Especially if your orphanage uses you for human experiments. The pain...the agony- the screams of the other kids I once called friends and played with...all gone and replaced with despair. Only teddy could keep me company and keep me sane. Till one day, a new boy was brought in and he was strange. But he interested the kids, even the scientists. He was placed in my room and he never spoke a word to anyone. He would wake up in the middle of the night and gasp for air like if there never was any. But he was my friend. Things changed and a few years later, the orphanage was attacked. Two people came in and killed the scientists but spared the children. While making an attempt to escape, I was caught by the remaining scientists and taken away. The screams of my friend echoing behind me as I tried to escape... Such a waste as I became strong and have long forgotten those memories. But side effects came with the experiments they played with. Y/N is the name and being psychotic is my game. Don't try to catch me cause I can read you like a book in a grand library. Secrets are never kept when the walls an objects around you speak your truth... ╭⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯⌯╮ First Published: June 25, 2021
