This story is based in 19th Century France and stars a group of four friends Reginald, Gabrielle, Charlotte, and Maria who are artists in their own right and become detectives when a series of crimes erupt linking to famous art pieces in Paris.All Rights Reserved

Ainsley Caree Hudson didn't have a typical childhood; at eight years old she was the victim of abusive parents who didn't care about her, what happened to her or who did what to her. Until one night a man came in and rescued her. She asked his name and he told her it was "G" and then she asked him if he was an angel; he told her if that's what she needed he would be her angel. It all started with some virus, i think. Some nasty bug that got off the Wuhan express and left the world locked up in their own homes. I didn't care though. Hell, i liked the peace and quiet: No damn girl scouts knocking on my door asking for cash, less traffic, and more beer for me down at the local pub. Yes-sir-ee no complaints here. Well...That was before some sick fuck came along and decided,"hey maybe i should start mercilessly slaughtering people. That'd be a great use of everyone's time." Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on. A normal girl who lives a peaceful life, suddenly receives a book named "Creator" by a stranger whom she helped in going through hard times. the book was about an incomplete love story. after reading the book, she somehow felt bad for the male protagonist inside the book. the book triggered her, knowing that it doesn't have any proper ending. she wanted to see a proper ending. her curiosity leads her to an unknown world. in which she is not familiar with. then she realizes that she is inside the book named "Creator." it was just the same as how it was described in the book. the surroundings made a clear description of the 16th century. WARNING⚠️ English is not my first language. so there you may find some grammar errors. I will try to improve it as time goes on.

At first I thought I'd pick something a bit out of my comfort zone (so.... NOT SciFi for once...) to expand my horizon, but when I saw a prompt about time travel I was immediately inspired. Please keep in mind, all of this is WIP! The title, cover, and some of the content might change at any time... I have an outline and I worked hard to come up with a compelling and consistent story line, but due to the nature of the story (timey whimey stuff!) I might have to revise things a few times as I write. I'm grateful for any feedback and I hope you enjoy :)
