"I can't be with you Alpha," she says lowering her head.
My heart dropped. I never felt pain like this in my life, it was worse than my watching my fathers heart being ripped out of his chest. It was the bond. It was breaking fast and painfully. Oh Moon Goddess, please stop the pain. She can't leave me.
"Are you mad woman," I rhetorically ask. She must be! How dare she let those words come from her mouth?!
"No," she says softly, "I can't be any help to your pack, Alpha. I only cause trouble." Every word was like a punch to my naked heart. I clutched my chest, trying to stop the pain in any possible way.
"You will not reject me, mate." I boom. My wolf will die without her. My pack will crash. I will crash! She can't leave.
