"I can't be with you Alpha," she says lowering her head. My heart dropped. I never felt pain like this in my life, it was worse than my watching my fathers heart being ripped out of his chest. It was the bond. It was breaking fast and painfully. Oh Moon Goddess, please stop the pain. She can't leave me. "Are you mad woman," I rhetorically ask. She must be! How dare she let those words come from her mouth?! "No," she says softly, "I can't be any help to your pack, Alpha. I only cause trouble." Every word was like a punch to my naked heart. I clutched my chest, trying to stop the pain in any possible way. "You will not reject me, mate." I boom. My wolf will die without her. My pack will crash. I will crash! She can't leave. "Well, reject me, Alpha."

"You rejected me!! Not the other way around!!" I yelled at him, tears streaming down my face. "I know." He says, he head hangs low. "And I'm sorry. I should never have rejected you." He went to take my hands into his but I turned away from him. Tears were still going down my face. How could he, after all this time, have the nerve to come here. He knew that he had hurt me. Now he is sorry and wants me back? No. "Please. Believe me. I messed up big time! I didn't know what I had until it was gone!" He said. I heard every word. They cut through the wall of my heart and placed themselves on it . It hurt. But what he did to me had hurt even more. "That's right. You screwed up. Consider me lost." I said. Then I walked away.
