The Host of My Heart (On Hiatus)

Host Club (noun): A type of business in Japan that resembles an escort service. However, the hosts are male, service is very expensive, and does not offer sex. Rather, it is more like paying an incredibly good looking guy to go on a date with you and flirt relentlessly. Kissing, cuddling, and holding hands may or may not be allowed depending on the club you go to.

25 year old Rika Diaz was fairly content to go to work, come home, eat, sleep and then do it all over again. But when her best friend of 20 years suddenly decides to sink her teeth into one of the most untouchable hosts in all of Japan, Rika is brought along for the ride. However, when Issen, arrogant and beautiful reveals to Rika that what she calls contentment is just an excuse to reject men before they reject her, will she finally open up her heart and let Issen help her, or will she continue to keep it under lock and key?
