Conflicted and confused, Alec Lightwood is struggling to come to terms with his sexuality and his newfound relationship with the High Warlock of Brooklyn, Magnus Bane. On top of this, he needs to work things out with his friends, take on the seemingly impossible task of coming out to his parents, and still meet the high expectations and face the terrifying dangers that come with being a Shadowhunter.
