In a world several years on from the horror and carnage that was unleashed by the war against the Covenant, humanity has rebuilt itself with the Elites. Earth will forever be silently grieving the loss of their hero, John 117. Memorials have been erected for the heroes of the wars but many are vandalized or uncared for. The Spartans have no purpose and so the program was disbanded. But the surviving Spartans suspect a new war is about to begin.
