Lathyrus, a prince of the dark elves, meets a young fairy known by her kind as Nymphaea. when the two collide in a meadow atop a hill, Nymphaea steals Lathryus's Magic pendent left to him by his diseased father, and over time, Lathryus and Nymphaea become close friends. A solemn day in mid July brought unhappiness as the queen of the ruling dark elven clan was captured and over thrown by a man known as Lumious, who promised to be an even better ruler to the people he deceived. Nymphaea, determined to help her friend, decides to use her powerful magic to save Lathyrus and herself, but at a price.
