The Augury
The girl I grew up to know is not who I am today, who I am today is not who I see or envision to be in future, I look at myself now and see that I am the now the present. In truth, apparent awakening cannot occur in anyone's presence but it can only occur in anyone's absence. I couldn't have "experience" what I'm truly called for from "afar" because there is no such thing as a distance for Oneness. There is no one "over here" to gain knowledge of something "over there." Different- 1) Not the same as another, or each other; Unlike in nature, form or quality. I thought being different was a good thing. You know, the whole 'Im not conforming to you' deal. I thought I was unique, my own person. Apparently not everyone thinks being different is a good thing. They're afraid of my difference. Maybe it's my long white hair? Or my glowing silver eyes? Or it could just be because.... I'm not fully human. I tried to keep it a secret. Really I did. I knew the consequence of something like this getting out. So my secret stayed a secret.
