She stood frozen on the spot as he said those words to her.

Never in a million years did she expect to hear those words from him. Most she-wolves would have killed her just to be in her position right now. They didn't know any better but she did. Giving him a heated gaze, she started to walk away from him, stopping midway only to say, "No thanks. I already had one and I realized I'm better off alone."
