21 Reasons Why

The room is cold. The grey walls get closer and closer around me, suffocating me, starving my lungs of precious oxygen. I never really understood why we live. We are born, we age, have children of our own, age some more, then we die. Whilst sitting in my lovely little wooden desk, littered with carvings and gum stuck underneath, I decided I would write a list. I decided I would write out my 21 reasons why I, Magdelena Haven Robbins, want to die.

17 year-old Lena decided that she wanted to die. One day during her English class, Lena wrote out her 21 reasons why. But what she didn't know, was her quiet, almost mute desk buddy, had seen it.

Damien hasn't spoken a word in two years. No one knows why, they all think he lost his tongue or something. But when he sees Magdelena, his desk buddy, writing out her suicide note of reasons why she wants to die- he becomes head set on proving her wrong.

With an English project, confrontations, a jealous boyfriend, a controlling mother, and two dark hearts, will Magdelena end up with a new 21 reasons why?
