Love this exciting adventure? Don't forget to VOTE to turn this into the official backstory of Chef Panda!

When Chef Panda was younger, he was often playing with his food and mixing it in peculiar concoctions.

Because Chef Panda loved food so much, he decided that he would head off to culinary school. When classes began, he met his classmates one of them being The Gingerbread Man. Chef Panda was anxious to learn the ways of food from professionals. However, when the Gingerbread Man learned that Chef Panda was gifted with the culinary gift, he tried to sabotage him.

Chef Panda knew this was only a bump in the road. He would not give up on his culinary dream. He decided he was going to travel around the world trying new foods.

As he travelled from country to country, he would stay in the homes of locals where he would also get to know the local ingredients specially grown there. By doing this, Chef Panda's recipes would soon be recognized as he mixed those ingredients in unique recipes created by him.

As Chef Panda's success continued to grow, he wanted to continue expanding his arsenal as he continued his success. Chef Panda was looking forward to collecting new ingredients to create unique recipes and keep fighting against the Gingerbread Man's antics. And that's when the adventure begins.

"My compliments to the chef." ~~~ Twenty-six year-old Kahlia Obisani is the youngest chef to have won the title of Food Doyen in the nation's toughest televised cooking competition. Overseen and judged by the biggest names in the culinary industry around the world, Kahlia became a national sensation when she won the title at the tender age of twenty. With her instant success and prize money, she set up her restaurant, a Michelin star establishment with her leading the helm as head chef. Her winning dish, now her signature dish, is the best selling item on the menu; a sweet dessert with root vegetables as the base ingredients. Thirty year-old Dorian Bankfurth is what most restauranteurs would consider the toughest food critic in the cooking scene. He's built and destroyed restaurants with a single review, putting multitudes of establishments on the map and driving even more into bankruptcy and closed doors. He's cold, judgemental, and cynical, but above all things he's fair. He gives reviews as honestly as he can, and has no problem giving credit where it's due. When his friends take him to award winning Obisani restaurant for his birthday, he's faced with a dish he never thought he'd encounter in his life; a dessert made from root vegetables. The kicker? Dorian hates sweet things. The moment he finally meets the chef behind the meal, both their worlds are rocked in a shocking contrast of sweet and sour. Kahlia's sweet disposition and Dorian's cold glare clash, sparking tension and whispers in those around them. Still, despite his abrasive attitude, Kahlia keeps smiling, infecting the man with a sweetness he hadn't known he was missing, and opening his palate to a whole new world he quickly became addicted to. When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Could he accept the one ingredient his recipe was missing?

Think this sweet story reigns supreme? Don't forget to VOTE to turn this into the official backstory of Chef Panda! Chef Panda's life begins at a zoo in Asia. He's kidnapped by thugs who work in the highly illegal exotic pet trade. They intend to sell him to a rich business man in Eastern Europe who collects animals in his private zoo... but then due to a comical mix-up when the thugs stop for gas, Panda is mistakenly delivered to a French pastry shop (instead of the delivery of flour, sugar, and butter that the chef was expecting)! Pierre, the head chef of the Cookie Jam bakeshop on Boulevard Gateaux, is afraid to turn poor baby Panda over to the police for fear that he'll end up in the hands of whoever's willing to pay the highest price for him. However, Pierre grows old and ill before it ever seems like the right time to surrender his beloved Sous-Chef, Panda. When Pierre passes away and bequeaths ownership of Cookie Jam to Chef Panda, Panda decides to set out on an adventure to find his parents and rightful home. Eager to capture Chef Panda and deliver him to the business man who's now willing to pay even more for him, the thugs plant spies all over the world to order gingerbread men from Panda. Chef Panda instructs all of his helpers to smash gingerbread men who aren't cooking perfectly with wooden spoons rather than allow them to delay full pastry orders. Will Chef Panda ever find his panda family? Or will he eventually decide to settle down somewhere nice, like the Fruit Tart Fields, and abandon his dream?
