"We ALL have it here" they croaked again, a sweeping grin showcasing chipped, red-stained teeth and a dormant, blistered tongue. Blood poured from mine - bitten. Goosebumps ran up my arms and jitters crawled under their skin - cold. My lethargic shoulders straightened - prepared.

The bones in her body were breaking and bending joint by joint. Her muscles were tensing, bending and twisting. As she continued to convulse on the cold metal slab, the restraints around her wrists, ankles and even the retainer in her mouth caused her ever increasing pain as they began to cut into her inch by inch with every seizure like convulsion that tore through her. Tears streamed down her face as her just audible groans squeaked from her throat. She could only make out the dark ominous figure as it continued to inject the serum into her heart. Her breathing became so erratic that it caused her to lose conscience but only for seconds at a time. She could feel new appendages growing from her head and back. Even her tail bone was bending and snaking its way from her body and protruding from her posterior. Her teeth began to change shape and length as her jaw reshaped its self to form around the new arrivals. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning... Trina was a devout Christian and history buff. She had gained fame and a small fortune from her discoveries. However, she wanted nothing more than to prove that Heaven and Hell did exist and was willing to get the evidence anyway she could. She had no idea what she was about to release upon herself or the world... Vincent was a brilliant detective in solving histories greatest mysteries from the empty honey comb tombs of Bohol to the recently discovered city of Atlantis. His latest dig would unearth a gate that would tear our world apart and bring another into it... Looking for evidence in the bible is one thing. Finding it is apocalyptic... I am open to any and all comments, complaints and opinions on what you readers think of my first work with many more to come. I look forward to the reviews that are sure to come.
