DECISIONS

There comes a time when you have to make some serious decisions. My time had come. I had to make my decision right now and then. I looked back at Emily sleeping, peacefully, in my bed. I knew that once she woke up, from her beautiful dreams, she would be shattered by my note. I needed to leave. I needed to find him. He may be Emily's only chance of a normal life. It was now or never. I looked out towards the city, lit up from the lights, yet it was poring rain. I was terrified of what was to come, but I needed to do it for Emily. I kissed her forehead one more time, but not for the last, I hoped. Then I walked out of her life and into a new one, which was uncertain, but only until I could find the person that could help. The person who needed to help us because they owed me a favor.

A very big favor.
