On the day that Jude is officially considered an adult, he recieves a visit from a man who tells him he has been chosen to join a group of elite men that do 'unpleasent' jobs for people that don't want to do them. He is chosen to join a group of mercenaries and is put through months of intense training, which is interrupted by an important and possibly the most dangerous mission the allience has been on in years. What happens on that mission changes his life forever.
