The Unlikely Prince (#OnceUponNow)

Prince William is one of many well-known princes' in New York despite the fact that no one has seen him in person for nearly four years; he has the fame, the fortune, the power, but he was battling a life-long illness that he just couldn't seem to get rid of. After being diagnosed with BDD-Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Jack began to fall into a sense of depression. His mind began to play tricks on him, making him believe that his outer appearance was grotesque and needed to be hidden from the world.
He lost all self-esteem, and his confidence, which made it very difficult for him to find his lovely princess; that and the fact that he never leaves his humble mansion...EVER. He's been turned down repeatedly in the past from true beauties, such as, Rapunzel, Snow White, Belle and Cinderella; even her ugly step-sisters wouldn't give him a chance.
After countless times of rejection, and growing more desperate each day, Prince William decides to seek out a way to alter his appearance. Unfortunately, when he goes to visit the fairy god-mother he finds that she's gotten very old; she's extremely sick and has lost her magical powers. He leaves with no other place to go; luckily for him he finds a flyer stapled to a pole. He stumbles onto what seems to be the prayer he's been looking for but he accidently finds it in the wrong place leading him to an evil-minded con-artist--Rumpelstiltskin.
To beat all odds, Jack must face his illness head-on and overcome it before his life is left with nothing but pain and negativity.
