I loop my fingers around his, making one small connection as the whole world falls apart around us. Bucky takes my white Lady Liberty helmet off my head, allowing my messy braided hair to fall out. With a small smile, he brushes my dark bangs from my eyes. I close my eyes and lean into his hand.
Whatever happens after this, we've found each other again. If that's the only good thing that survives today, I'm okay with that.

Two years have passed since Alexander Pierce nearly fulfilled HYDRA's mission. Two years have passed since the Insight carriers were destroyed. Two years have passed since they discovered that Bucky Barnes was not only alive but has been the Winter Soldier for seventy years.
