Six years ago, August 14th. On the way home from a girls' basketball club summer training camp. The bus had fourteen middle school girls including me. While going up a cliff side, the bus blew a tire and ran off the edge. Stranding my classmates and me in the middle of nowhere only surrounded by tons of trees. Causing me, Avery Jennings, to struggle to survive the forest and stay sane.

That's what's always been expected of her, which is why, since the fourth grade, she felt infatuated by Richie Tozier. He's everything she's told not to be, and isn't. It made her wonder how he could do it all so easily, up to the way he speaks, and down to the way he acts. Which is odd to her, because she felt she needs to despise him. But instead, she spent her days in class sneaking glances at him, and getting any chance to talk to him no matter how nervous she gets. Cassiopeia tries her very hardest to hide her crush from the glasses eyed boy.
