Eighth year at Hogwarts is going to be boring. That's what Draco Malfoy thinks when the Wizengamot makes attendance a condition of his pardon. It is one year after Voldemort is defeated. Headmistress Mcgonagall invites students with unfinished educations to return if they would like. They will be known as Eighth Years. Hermione, of course, easily agrees and is actually excited. Ron and Harry would rather not go, but, of course, Mrs. Weasley is making them. All summer, Ron has been moody and distant. But lately, he's been rude and almost cruel towards Harry and Hermione. And when they arrive at Hogwarts, Ron starts acting possessive and abusive. Hermione was going to tell someone, but as much as she hated to admit it, she's clueless. She's hurting physically and emotionally. And worst of all, she's scared. She's backed into a corner and has no one to run to. Or does she?

A Drarry Story. After the war, and after the funerals of the Fallen Fifty, the Golden Trio has fallen apart. Set in the first two weeks of year eight in which it turns out that Neville is a very perceptive young man and Draco finds out that hanging around Gryffindors can be hectic, funny, dangerous, and quite detrimental to one's health. Can Draco bring the Golden Trio back together and can he successfully woo Harry in the process?

The trio are invited back to Hogwarts to finish the education they missed out in their seventh year (original concept - I know). However, McGonagall requests that they stay in the Slytherin dorms due to a bullying incident. Oh my god they have to share a dorm with Draco, who coulda guessed it. Anyhoo, I'm a sucker for Drarry, so the plot's pretty easy to guess. Hope you enjoy, leave a vote etc, etc...

A year after the war, Hogwarts has been rebuilt and the students have returned, including a temporary 'eighth year' class to make up from the time lost during the war. Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy have both returned, though neither is exactly the same after the events of the war. Harry has turned away from his Golden Boy exterior, no longer caring what others think and for the first time, doing what he wants. Draco just wants to move past the events of the war, to get this last year of school over with so he can move on with his life. Both have expectations placed upon them that they can't seem to live up to and maybe they don't want to either.

Headmistress McGonagall has decided everyoe under age will be retaking the year the just graduated seeing as proper teaching was thrown out the window. So this year there will be double the first years. As for over aged students, they may retake seventh year if they wish. She also believes a resorting should be set for anyone wanting once. I mean the war had drastic effects on anyone involved or with family involved. Hermione Granger will be attending and is dragging along her boyfriend and best friend. Harry Potter is secretly thankful for this as he can't take the silence of his new home. Plus, if he stays home dwelling on his girlfriend's, Ginny, death any longer he might go insane. Draco Malfoy will be attending to get away from the Malfoy Manor which is filled with fighting. He can't wait to go back to school.
