The Incongruent Affair

A short story about two lovers who end up in an ironic situation. A man tells of his experience in true love. The executioner who is supposed to stay anonymous falls in love with the prisoner he's supposed to kill. She loves him back, but the love is not meant to be. Just a long conversation and a physical moment of love on a trip that went for days that led to these great feelings, but ended all too soon.
